Maple Side Mr. Magic

Maple Side Mr. Magic provides everything you are looking for in a hunter pony sire – he produces offspring that can win both under saddle and over fences.

Mr. Magic’s offspring have demonstrated his ability to produce champions at the highest levels of pony hunter competition with multiple winners at Devon, Pony Finals and USEF year-end champions (Horse of the Year).

In 2019 and 2017 Maple Side Mr. Magic was ranked by USEF as the #1 Hunter Pony Sire and has consistently been at the top of the list for many years.

Maple Side Mr. Magic is by Silver Snaffles Excalibur, who was gelded and showed under the name Picasso. Picasso was the first pinto pony to win the Model at USEF Pony Finals.

 

Mr. Magic’s grand sire on the paternal side is the legendary Halcyon Sir Lancelot who sired numerous A Circuit winners and national champions and was a leading USEF hunter sire for many years. 

 

Maple Side Mr. Magic’s damsire is the Holsteiner stallion Magical, who also sired many winning hunters in the United States. Both Magical and Maple Side Mr. Magic were bred by the late Carol Lush of Maple Side Farm.

Maple Side Mr. Magic has an excellent temperament, is an incredible mover and has fabulous jumping form. He passes along all these traits to his offspring, which have more than proven his ability as a top hunter pony sire.
